OAKRIDGE ATHLETIC CLUB CHILD CARE

CHILD CARE RULES

Our child care service is available to our members at no additional charge. State law requires that a parent be on the premises at all times while the child is in the nursery or playroom. We provide a safe environment for your child and a caring staff. A variety of toys, books and G rated videos are available for your child's amusement in a free play atmosphere.   Please read carefully the rules listed below.

  1. No sick children allowed. If we feel your child is ill, we will ask you to please take him/her home.
  2. The time limit in child care is two (2) hours. The age limit is 3 weeks - 13 years old.
  3. Please leave your baby fed and freshly diapered. Also, please leave an extra diaper, should the child care attendant need one. We will change diapers for infants up to the age of 2 1/2 years old. If a diaper is not provided, or the child is older than 2 1/2 years old, we will page you to take care of your child. If you are toilet training, please let the attendant know.
  4. No food or drink allowed in child care except baby bottles. No glass bottles.
  5. Parents may leave their children only when they are on the premises.
  6. Behavioral problems may result in a parent being paged to child care and continual behavioral problems may result in forfeiture of child care privileges.
  7. We will page the parent to child care if we feel that a child is experiencing separation anxiety or has been crying for 10 minutes and will not be comforted.
  8. Members and properly registered guests' children are the only ones allowed in child care.
  9. For your child's safety, no hard balls or chewing gum.
  10. All children must be signed in by a parent using first and last name. Children must be picked up and signed out by the parent who signed them in. Under no circumstances will a child be released from child care without a parent personally signing them out. No child will be allowed to enter and exit the child care at will.
  11. Clearly identify your baby's bottle and diaper bag with their name.
  12. Please do not bring your own videos to child care. Oakridge stocks a good variety of G rated videos. These will be shown at the child care attendants discretion.
  13. Oakridge Athletic Club is not responsible for personal possessions left in the nursery or playroom.

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 9:00pm
Saturday 8:00am - 5:30pm
Sunday 8:30am - 5:30pm
