KRISTA GRUBBS
PERSONAL TRAINER

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that anything worth doing is worth doing well and I carry that philosophy over in my training approach. With the increase in type II diabetes and obesity in our society (especially in children) the need for exercise is greater than ever. That said, to achieve long term fitness goals, workouts must be challenging but fun at the same time. I believe that consistent exercise must be part of a healthy lifestyle, not just a phase of life. My goal as a trainer is to design and implement safe and effective programs for a variety of individuals, no matter their goals or fitness level. A complete and balanced program consisting of cardiovascular, resistance and flexibility exercise can help reduce the likelihood of injury as well as improve the efficiency at which activities of daily life are performed.

CLIENT BASE

I enjoy working with a variety of clients, from the beginning exerciser who wants to lose weight or learn how to exercise safely, to the athlete who wants to improve their sports performance. I enjoy working with people who are enthusiastic about exercise and creating a healthy lifestyle. I also enjoy working with teenagers and having the opportunity to shape their outlook on exercise that can positively impact the rest of their lives.
